Our group mainly explores the application of cutting-edge combination of materials science and biology, realizing the fushion of multidisciplines, developing the future artificial biological system based on material strengthening, and fulfilling the practical applications and their transferring.
1.Development of novel enzyme immobilization technology to realize the efficient production of biofuels and biomedical chemicals;
2.Intelligent transformation of microorganisms based on novel nanotechnology;
3.Construction of complexes of new functional materials and organisms by modulating the biological functionalities via materials science technologies.;
4.Bionic reconstruction and repair of biological hard tissues based on mineralization technology;
5.The construction of supramolecular functional system and its application in biological systems, including biosensing, biofuels and targeted drug delivery.
