On February 18, 2023, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Communication Forum, co-sponsored by the South China University of Technology, the International Communication Development Center of the China Foreign Languages Administration, the Publicity Department of the Guangzhou Municipal Committee, and the Nansha District Party Committee, was successfully held in Nansha. The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Communication Research Institute and other institutions held the unveiling ceremony at the forum. Over thirty experts and scholars from domestic and international universities and industries convened in Guangzhou, online and offline, to collaboratively explore the omnimedia construction path for the superior development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area’s international communication capacity.
Guo Weiming, the president of the China Public Relations Association and former deputy director of the State Council Information Office, gave his address in a video. Lu Cairong, deputy director of the Foreign Languages Bureau of China and secretary of the Party Committee of the organization, Zhang Liqun, president of South China University of Technology, and Du Xinshan, standing committee member of the Guangzhou Municipal Committee and minister of the Publicity Department, attended the activities and delivered speeches on site. Zhu Min, Vice President of South China University of Technology and Co-Director of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Communication Research Institute, participated in the inauguration ceremony of the Institute.
