In the demonstration study on kitchen waste composting, our team member, professor Neng-wu Zhu realized the low-cost operation of three 6T/d demonstration lines by adopting a complete set of technology and equipment including crushing, dewatering and composting. After composting for 10 days followed by ageing for 20 days, and applied in soil, the Vc and soluble sugar in plants were significantly increased.(Resour. Conserv. Recy., 2018, 132: 130-138.)
