On Sep. 14, Chen Yu, the assistant of the Dean of the SEC in SCUT, and Pang Hua, the Director of the Department of Exhibition and Event Management, were invited to Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair. Taking this opportunity, they on behalf of SEC, signed Cooperation Agreement on Outside-School Practice Base with UBM Asia, the host of this Fair.
Mr. Michael Duck, Vice CEO of UBM Asia, and Ms. Ye Yunzhen, General Manager of UBM China (Guangzhou), discussed details of the cooperation between SEC and UBM Asia. The pattern of internship and practice for students, as well as the way to combine talents in SCUT and international operation in UBM, were highlighted especially. The agreement has consolidated cooperative framework between the school and enterprise, broadened the horizon of students, and made new attempts for the internationalization of talent training.
