From July 6 to August 26, SEC students majoring in finance, economics, e-commerce and tourism management took summer internship course in Guangdong Tian Lu Mountain Tourism Resort. It was the initiation and practice launch of the university-enterprise cooperation agreement, acting as a milestone between cooperation of both sides. SEC students worked in different departments and positions: marketing, general accounting, operation, front office and housekeeping.
Mr. YANG Yiren, deputy party secretary of SEC, Professor BI Doudou, head of tourism and hospitality management department, professor ZHANG Buhong and Dr. GAO Kechang paid visits to the internship at site, made a deep understanding of students’ intern and were present at the internship summary conference. On the basis of internship, students gave advice and suggestions on the development of Tian Lu Mountain Resort.
Heads of the corporation expressed thanks to students’ great efforts and promised that they would offer strong support to the development of SEC social practice base. Mr. YANG praised highly the university-enterprise cooperation between School of Economics and Commerce and Tian Lu Mountain Resort, hoped that both sides could enhance and promote communications in the fields of talents training and scientific research.
