On the afternoon of December 11, as one of the SEC 10th anniversary celebration activities, 2015 GF Bank Credit Card Cup Financial Innovation Contest was unveiled and ended with success. Professor Wang Renzeng, executive dean of School of Economics and Commerce, Professor Wei Kun, deputy dean of teaching and research office in Higher Education Mega Center Campus of SCUT, Mr. Yang Yiren, deputy secretary of SEC Party Committee, Mr. Liu Changqing, vice general manager of human resource department in GF Bank Credit Card Center, Ms. Hu Chengsui, senior manager of organization development department and Ms. Xie Jieru, vice-director of human resource department attended the contest.
Five teams stood out from 15 teams in the first round and went into the final of the competition. The theme of the final was On-line Finance in the Big Data Era, encouraging finalist teams to focus on the combination of LBS and credit card, APP constructional design of Credit Card, On-line Finance Data Mining and Credit Card Marketing in the background of Big Data Era.
It was learned that the finalist teams showed their deep thoughts and insight on the competition. GF Bank, as the sponsor of the competition, hoped that the competition would be extended to other universities in the next year.
