On the morning of Dec. 10, the 1st session of Advisory Board of SEC Exhibition Economics and Management Department and discipline development strategy discussion was launched. Professor Wu Yechun, assistant to president of SCUT and SEC Secretary of Party Committee, professor Wang Renzeng, executive dean of SEC, professor Jiang Jinbo, deputy dean of SEC, and Mr. Yang Yiren, SEC deputy secretary of Party Committee, professor Li Li, deputy dean of Sub-School of Tourism and Hospitality Management and professors and faculty of Sub-School of Tourism and Hospitality Management attended the appointment ceremony.
Mr. Li Xiahui, director of Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Industry Association and secretary general of Pearl River Delta Convention and Exhibition Cooperation Association, Mr. Chen Rongji, general manager of Nan Feng International Convention and Exhibition Center, Mr. Zheng Xinmin, Mr. Jiang Huai, Mr. Zeng Guoyu, Mr. Cai Yile, Mr. Yang Weiqiang, Mr. Wu Jianyu, Mr. Hu Zhongshun and Mr. Hong Gang were appointed as the members of 1st session of SEC Exhibition Economics and Management Advisory Board.
In the appointment ceremony, Professor Wang Renzeng expressed his gratitude and warm welcome to the experts. He hoped modestly that experts would offer their precious advice from the perspectives of major construction, talent cultivation and talent demand. The discipline development strategy discussion focused on talent cultivation and interaction between convention and exhibition industry and university.
