Ministry of Education Inspection Team Visiting School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering
On the 12th January 2021, accompanied by Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the university, Shaojing Tao, School Dean of Prof. Zhengguo Zhang, School Secretary of the Party Committee, Minguo Xu, and School Vice Dean of Prof. Xuehui Li and Prof. Hongming Lou, an inspection team from the Ministry of Education visited the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering to inspect the situation of school epidemic prevention and control in the form of on-site visits and talks during winter holidays and Chinese New Year vacation.
At the entrance of the laboratory building, the Ministry of Education expert group checked the emergency plan for epidemic prevention, temporary isolation sites, the provision of epidemic prevention materials, and the stability of the temperature measurement system for access control. In the building, experts mainly inspected the preparedness of epidemic prevention, including the daily cleaning and disinfection, the configuration of hand sanitizer in the bathroom and the laboratory preparedness. During the inspection, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Shaojing Tao introduced the school's epidemic prevention, fire management and laboratory safety management measures, and the school leaders also introduced the specific epidemic prevention and laboratory safety management measures carried out in the school.
At the end of the on-site inspection process, the inspection team, while affirming the completed work by the school, also further requested the university to keep working on epidemic prevention and laboratory safety management and to ensure the school holidays and the Spring Festival safe and secure.
