报告题目:Gratings of tethered polyvinyltetrazole on silicon as a visualization platform for sensing of heave ions

报告摘要:
       Using click reactions, we have grafted N-propargyl polyacrylonitrile (PAN) to a dot matrix presentingazido-terminated surfaces on a silicon substrate to generate pillar arrays of two-dimensional photoniccrystals (2DPCs). The tethered PAN 2DPCs were then subjected to a cyano-to-tetrazole conversion reactionto generate tethered polyvinyltetrazole (PVT) 2DPCs. Over 88% of the cyano groups on the PAN were converted to tetrazolyl groups, determined according to the change in average molecular weight. Thetetrazolyl groups exhibited optimal Pb2+absorption at pH 5.3. Each Pb2+ ion was chelated to two or four tetrazolyl groups. In addition, the adsorption of Pb2+ to the tetrazolyl groups was highly selectivein solutions also containing Na+, K+, Ca2+, and Mg2+ ions. The absorption of Na+, K+, Ca2+, Mg2+, Fe3+, or Zn2+ ions resulted in insignificant changes in the effective refractive index of the tethered PVT 2DPC;in contrast, absorbing Pb2+ ions led to a dramatic change in effective refractive index, due to the highrefractive index of Pb2+ ions, resulting in a color change from green to dark red, observable to the nakedeye along an incident angle of 50–60?. The tethered PVT 2DPC-based assay exhibited high sensitivity andselectivity in an experimentally simple setup for Pb2+ sensing. The color change of the 2DPC should beapplicable in the development of other diffraction-based sensing technologies.

报告人简介:
       陈建光分别于1996年和1998年从台湾清华大学获化学工程学士和硕士学位,之后于2003年从台湾交通大学获博士学位,师从张丰志教授。2004-2005年,他在日本东北大学流体科学研究所,任博士后研究员从事量子点和量子盘的研究。2005年,他加入屏东科技大德赢新版app物系统工程系,任助理教授。2006年8月,他加入台湾科技大学,先后任助理教授、副教授(2010),并于2013年晋升教授。陈教授的研究领域包括:高分子刷合成与应用(在光学和生物传感器)、纳米纤维前瞻制成、纳米粒子、先进显示器材料、磁性粒子应用。他目前已经发表了90余篇的研究论文。
